This is a V2A stainless steel directional indicator to warn blind and partially sighted people of a potential hazard ahead. The tactile strips are installed at right angles to the direction of travel. These warning strips which are 35mm wide and have a radius profile raised 5mm higher than the surface of the paving, denote a hazard such as the top/bottom of a flight of steps. The stainless steel directional strips should be parallel to the edge of the hazard, and may be installed on hard surfaces such as concrete, bitumen, ceramics, stones, woods, plastics, steel. .Manufactured with 'Cross-Grip' serrations on the top of the profile which creates an anti slip surface, the underside of the strip is manufactured with 3 fixing stems. These are securely held in place along its length with epoxy resin, providing a very secure and concealed fixing.
