This DDA compliant tile-in stair nosing is a heavy-duty aluminium step edging profile designed for indoor tiled staircases. It is ideal for use with thicker floor finishes including ceramic tiles, porcelain, natural stone, marble, and timber flooring.
The extended perforated fixing flange installs beneath the tile during fitting and beds securely into the tile adhesive, providing a strong mechanical bond. This tile stair nosing profile protects vulnerable tile edges from chipping while creating a clearly defined step edge for improved safety.
Featuring a 56mm tread and 55mm riser, this DDA stair nosing helps projects meet accessibility and safety guidelines for public and commercial buildings. The integrated PVC anti-slip insert provides excellent slip resistance and is available in a range of colours. Choosing a contrasting insert colour improves stair visibility and helps identify step edges.
